Flights

One of the task of creating a outing/tournament is to create the names of the flights within each of the divisions. Men, Men Senior, Men Super Senior and Ladies. The image to the left is a screen shot of the flight creation screen.

The key is the Flight Range by Score. For each flight there is allow end and a high end of the Flight Range by Score. For example, the Men Championship Flight has a flight range of the low end of 0 and the high end of 78. This means that anyone in the men division that shoots a firs round score of 0 and 78 will be in the men Championship Flight. The “A” Flight has a low end of 79 and a high end of 86. This would mean that anyone in the Men Division that shoots a first round score between 79 and 86 will be in the Men “A” Flight.

Once a player has completed their first round score and has been placed in a flight, that player will remain in that particular flight for the duration of the tournament.

Should there be to many players in any particular flight, you can always change the Flight Range by Score low and high end numbers to adjust the number of players in a flight. Once the second round has begun, you should not change the low and high end numbers of the Flight Range.
